ur
goals are to reach the lost, disciple the Saved, and
bring the body of Christ together in Christian love.
We do these things through martial arts performances and
classes, centered on our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Reaching the lost requires contact with them. We accomplish this by
public, evangelistic demonstrations as well as offering martial arts
classes, and participating in tournaments.
Practice of the martial arts will bring lost
persons into proximity with us, thus allowing them to experience and hear the
Gospel, the truth about eternal life, and an invitation to receive Jesus
Christ.
The members on our martial arts team are disciplined, informed, and
encouraged through practice, the study of Scripture, participation in
prayer, and outreach activities. The discipline we stress in the martial
arts is transferred both to our Christian walk and to outreach. The
opportunity to grow in relationship with Jesus Christ is always present
within the team.
We bring the body of Christ together by focusing on the basic points of the
Gospel.
We do not endorse eastern
religious philosophies as many martial arts schools do, but rather teach the
karate student how to incorporate Christian values into the study of karate,
just as a Christian doctor should incorporate his or her Christian values
into their medical practice, or a Christian business man into his business
dealings.
If a student is dedicated to doing their best, and
working diligently, he or she can expect to receive many benefits. An
enriched Christian life and broader understanding of the Bible can be
expected, as well as a stronger, healthier body and the clearer mind that
comes with it. The student will advance at a rate that depends on the amount
of practice and effort put into the studies.
As with any art, students should expect to practice on
their own in order to improve their skills.
e respect the doctrinal differences of others,
but hold to the essential truths that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, both
fully God and fully man, and was crucified, buried and raised from the dead
on the third day.
